Requirements for the Osteopathic Internship Program at UPMC Shadyside

Students must apply via the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). The American Osteopathic Association (AOA) ID number is 157435. The AOA match code number is 71211.

Students must include the following attachments with their application:

  • Recommendation from the dean
  • Recommendation from a faculty member
  • Official medical school transcript
  • Copy of scores of 450 or higher in the Comprehensive Osteopathic Medical Licensure Examination (COMLEX)
